The ABPS Certification Schedule for 2020
To earn board certification with the American Board of Physician Specialties® (ABPS), candidates must pass a written examination. Our standardized, psychometrically validated exams test core concepts of a specialty area and measure how physician candidates have mastered the subject matter.
A nationally recognized choice for physician board certification, the ABPS offers these exams at a network of testing centers throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada as a convenient option for physicians who are considering certifying or re-certifying through one of our Member Boards.
Physicians currently board certified through the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Orthopedic Association (AOA) are eligible to recertify through the ABPS.
