General Medical Officer (GMO) – U.S. Navy
Full-Time In-Person | Active-Duty Medical Corps Officer | Not Remote or Telemedicine
Starting Annual Compensation: $221,883 to $249,567
Key Responsibilities:
As a Navy General Medical Officer, you’ll provide medical care to Sailors, Marines, and operational units while helping keep them medically ready for the mission.
You’ll deliver primary care, treat acute and chronic conditions, conduct physical exams, manage medical readiness, and coordinate follow-up care when needed. You’ll also advise command leadership on the health and readiness of assigned personnel while practicing medicine in support of operational missions ashore or at sea.

Minimum Requirements:
- MD or DO from an accredited institution (or ECFMG certified)
• Possess an unrestricted license
• Eligible to serve as a Navy GMO
• U.S. Citizenship
• Between the ages of 21 and 57 (Federal Law: Title 10 U.S. Code section 531 and 532)
